Personality:
Acacia absolutely adores her tennis ball and proudly carries it around like her most prized possession, making sure everyone knows just how special it is. She is an energetic girl who loves a good game of tag around the yard, zooming about with a cheeky sparkle before dramatically collapsing into your lap for cuddles. She has plenty of playful puppy antics up her sleeve and is sure to keep her people entertained with her happy, goofy personality.
Tamariki – 10+ and dog savy as she learns her manners and boundaries.
Cats – Not yet assessed.
Kūri – Friendly. Ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 11.8kgs. liekly to mature large in size.
Ideal home:
Acacia is looking for an active, experienced home that understands and can happily manage a higher energy dog. She will thrive with ongoing training, consistent boundaries and positive socialisation to help her channel all that enthusiasm in the best ways. Give her the guidance and engagement she needs and she will reward you with endless love, plenty of kisses and the kind of joyful puppy antics that keep you laughing long after the tennis ball has been retrieved.
Fair warning: adopt Acacia and you may never be allowed to have a tennis ball to yourself again!

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
