Personality:
Blanca is a joyful, playful girl who seems to think life is one big invitation to have fun. She absolutely loves people, dogs and playtime, and is happiest when she has someone to interact with, a toy to chase or a game to get stuck into. She has a lovely social nature and thrives on positive attention, affection and being included in the action. Give this girl some love and a little playtime and she will happily give you plenty of her bubbly personality in return.
Tamariki – 10+ while she learns impulse control.
Cats – Not yet assessed.
Kūri – Friendly. Needs ongoing socialisation.
Stock/poultry – No poultry. Stock untested.
Size – Currently 14kgs. Likely to mature large in size.
Ideal home:
Blanca is looking for an active home that can give her positive outlets for both her energy and her clever brain. She will benefit from ongoing training, socialisation, enrichment and learning a little more about impulse control. She is eager to please and wants to get things right, so with kind guidance, consistency and plenty of positive reinforcement, she has all the ingredients to become a wonderful companion. She would love a family who will keep her busy, help her learn and take her along for plenty of life's adventures, with lots of fun and cuddles along the way.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
