Personality:
David Rose is a handsome young boy with confidence, charm and a playful personality to match his rather fabulous name! He loves following his people around, investigating new places and being part of whatever is happening. While he can have the occasional shy moment when faced with something unfamiliar, a little encouragement is all it takes for his bouncy, happy personality to shine through again. He’s still discovering the joys of toys and has already developed a special soft spot for soft toys, so expect a little cuddly companion who might just have a favourite teddy to carry around. As he grows, he’ll need plenty of opportunities to explore the world, build his confidence and continue learning all the important life skills that will help him become a wonderful adult dog.
Tamariki – 5+ as he can still startle with sudden movements and loud noises.
Cats – No cats, will chase.
Kūri – Friendly but does need ongoing socialisation.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 13.4kgs and is likely to mature large to XL in size.
Ideal home:
David will be looking for a family ready to embrace all the fun, learning and adventures that come with raising a puppy. Continued exposure to new environments, ongoing training and puppy school will help him grow into a confident, well mannered companion. He’s expected to grow into a large to extra large dog, so his future family will need to be comfortable with a big boy who will take up plenty of space on the couch and probably think he’s still a lap dog! With patience, consistency and lots of love, David has all the makings of a fantastic lifelong best friend.
