About Denali

  • Fox (Smooth) Terrier, Cross
  • Female
  • Good with children
  • 2 months
  • Can live with other dogs
  • Can live with cats
  • Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre

Personality:

Denali is a brave little lady with a big personality and even bigger confidence. She is bouncy, cheeky and full of attitude in the best possible way, always ready to get involved in whatever is happening around her. She is not easily fazed by much and approaches life head on, tail wagging and eyes bright. While she can be a little mouthy at times, she takes correction well and is keen to learn what is expected of her.

Denali absolutely loves people, cuddles and being handled, and she will happily soak up as much attention as you are willing to give. She is very much a “centre of the action” kind of girl and will thrive in a home where she is included as part of the family and given positive guidance as she grows.

Tamariki – Any age, provided correct intros and supervision.
Cats – Interested but no chase drive seen.

Kūri – Friendly, ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 2.6kgs. Likely to mature medium in size.

Ideal home:

Denali is on the lookout for an active, committed home that will treat her like a dog, not a novelty, and continue guiding her with ongoing socialisation and training. She will thrive with clear structure, consistency and plenty of healthy outlets for her busy brain and bouncy energy. In return, she will fill her home with laughter, affection and a whole lot of personality.

Small body, huge personality, Denali is ready to take on the world with the right team beside her.

  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
  • We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
