  • Male
  • Good with children
  • 10 months
  • Can live with other dogs
  • Can live with cats
  • Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre

Personality:

Dewalt is a big, handsome boy with an even bigger heart. Strong and athletic, he balances his size with a sweet and affectionate nature that makes him a pleasure to be around. He loves spending time with his people and is always happy to be included in whatever is going on.

This lovely lad is eager to please and enjoys learning, especially when food is involved. His good food drive makes training enjoyable, and he is always keen to engage with his humans. Dewalt also gets along well with other dogs and would likely enjoy having a confident canine brother or sister to share adventures and downtime with.

Tamariki – 10+ while he learns his manners.
Cats – Confident cats ok with training and supervision.

Kūri – Can be rude when he wants to meet but overall is a social boy.
Stock/poultry – Uninterested in the chooks he has met.
Size – Currently 30.7kgs and is almost fully grown.

Ideal home:

Dewalt is looking for an experienced home that can continue helping him build on his skills and confidence. A quieter environment would suit him best, along with a family committed to ongoing training, socialisation, and plenty of enrichment to keep his mind and body active. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion who is happiest when he's by your side.

Looking for a solid, dependable best mate with a heart of gold? Dewalt is ready to clock in for the most important job of his life... being your dog. 🐾❤️
