Personality:
Ebbett is a curious, playful and affectionate little boy who has settled into his new surroundings beautifully. He loves exploring, sniffing everything out and having a good run around, but his favourite place is usually right beside his people. He adores cuddles and attention and has already made great progress with becoming a little more independent. He is happy meeting new adults and children and has shown a lovely willingness to interact with new people. He is also proving to be a clever little cookie who watches, learns and quickly works out how things work, especially when treats are involved!
Tamariki – 10+ as he is still a bit shy.
Cats – Ok with confident cats with slow intros.
Kūri – Friendly. Ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 3.4kgs. Likely to mature medium - large.
Ideal home:
Ebbett is looking for a whānau who will continue his positive training and socialisation as he grows. He is already learning lead walking, recall, crate training and basic engagement, and his food motivation makes him a very willing student. He has been introduced to other dogs and, after a little initial uncertainty, quickly joined in with play and even became quite the vocal player himself. He is learning to be respectful around cats and will need continued positive experiences with other animals. As with any puppy, he will need patience, consistency, boundaries and plenty of opportunities to build his confidence and independence. His new family should also be mindful of his behaviour around valued resources and continue to positively guide him as he learns good manners.
Smart, cuddly, curious and just a little bit cheeky, Ebbett is ready to find his people and start his next big adventure.
