Personality:

Hilti's life looks like it has not always been easy. She arrived in our care with signs that she has likely had litter after litter and also has some skin issues that are currently being treated. Despite everything she has been through, Hilti has remained incredibly sweet natured and eager to trust the people around her. She has now been desexed so no more babies for this girl, it's time to focus on her 🩷

While she can be a little shy when meeting new people or finding her feet in a new environment, it doesn't take long for her true personality to shine through. Once she feels safe and comfortable, Hilti transforms into a playful, bouncy girl who is full of life and affection. She absolutely adores people and would happily spend her days by your side, soaking up attention and sneaking in as many face licks as she can manage. Her enthusiasm for human companionship is heartwarming to watch, especially knowing she may not have had the best start.

Tamariki – 10+ and dog savvy as she needs to learn manners.
Cats – Confident cats ok with proper intros and training.

Kūri – She loves other dogs and would appreciate a play buddy.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 24.1kgs. She is fully grown but needs to fill out a bit.

Ideal home:

Hilti is looking for a home with large breed or bully breed experience that can continue helping her learn the finer points of polite doggy manners. She is a loving soul with a lot of affection to give, but she doesn't always realise just how big she is and is still learning that not everyone appreciates an enthusiastic face wash. She would thrive with a family who can provide structure, ongoing training, enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to build her confidence and enjoy all the good things life has to offer. In return, you'll gain a loyal companion whose gratitude for a second chance shines through every day.

After everything she's been through, Hilti is ready for a soft bed, a full heart, and a family to call her own. Could that be you?

***In accordance with the Dog Control Act 1996, Hilti will be classified as Menacing by Breed and will need to adhere to the conditions attached to this.***
