Personality:
This gorgeous girl may be a little cautious and nervous when stepping into new environments, but give her some gentle encouragement, patience and positive engagement and you can almost see her confidence start to bloom. She is wonderfully people driven and once she feels safe with you, she wants to be right by your side. Her absolute favourite place is nestled into your neck or resting her head in your lap, soaking up cuddles and quietly reminding you that she is happiest when she is close to her people. She has a beautiful softness about her and is the kind of girl who will reward your patience with a very special bond.
Tamariki – 10+ and dog savvy as she needs steady, quiet handling.
Cats – Not yet assessed.
Kūri – Friendly but shy. Confidence building needed.
Stock/poultry – Poultry may be ok, untested on stock.
Size – Currently 21kgs and is almost fully grown.
Ideal home:
She is looking for a calm, quiet home with someone who understands that confidence takes time and is happy to let her find her feet at her own pace. Previous dog experience is important, with Rottweiler experience being a lovely bonus. A steady older dog may also be wonderful for her, giving her a confident friend to show her the ropes and help her discover that the big wide world is not quite so scary. With kind guidance, ongoing training, positive socialisation and plenty of confidence building, this clever girl has all the potential to blossom into a real star. There is a lovely little personality waiting to shine through once she knows she is safe.
Somewhere out there is a person with a lap, a loving heart and all the patience in the world, and we think she might just be waiting for them.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
