Personality:
Johnny Rose is a little bundle of happy-go-lucky energy with a serious case of FOMO! This handsome fella is always on the move and ready to see what exciting things the day has in store. Whether he's tagging along with his favourite people or proudly parading his treasured toy around like he's just won the jackpot, Johnny is happiest when there's something fun happening. Toys are very much his love language, and in his world, playtime is always a good idea! He's a confident, outgoing boy who takes the big, wide world in his stride and isn't easily fazed by new experiences. With his cheerful outlook and playful personality, Johnny brings a whole lot of sunshine wherever he goes.
Tamariki – 10+ and dog savvy as he can get a little overstimulated and mouthy.
Cats – No cats, will chase.
Kūri – Friendly. Ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 5 months. Will likely mature large in size.
Ideal home:
Johnny is looking for an active home where life is anything but boring! He'll thrive with people who are keen to get out and about, make time for adventures and include him in their daily activities. Ongoing training, enrichment and plenty of structure will be important to help him channel all that enthusiasm, develop good manners and learn when it's time to put the toys down and take a breather. He's got so much potential and will be a fantastic companion for someone who enjoys an interactive, fun-loving dog and is happy to invest in helping him grow into his very best self.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
