About Khoa

Personality:
Khoa is a playful and affectionate boy who is more than happy to fill your day with snuggles, soft face licks and plenty of puppy antics. He loves a good game of fetch and, given the choice, would happily keep playtime going alllll day long! Khoa is currently working his way through his puppy mouthy phase, so confident, calm and consistent handling will be important as he learns what is appropriate and continues growing into the lovely young dog he is destined to be.
Tamariki – 10+ due to energy and mouthiness.
Cats – Confident cats with slow intros, supervision and training.
Kūri – Friendly. Ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 8.7kgs. Likely to mature medium to large.
Ideal home:
Khoa is looking for an experienced, active home that will embrace his playful nature, include him in the fun and give him the time and guidance he needs to thrive. He will need proper handling, clear boundaries, ongoing training and positive socialisation as he grows. His new whānau should be ready for all the energy, enthusiasm and cheeky puppy moments that come with him, while also helping him learn when it is time to settle. Give this boy the structure, patience and love he deserves, and you will have one very happy companion by your side.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
