Ladybird

Personality:

Ladybird is a sweet, affectionate girl with a big personality and a whole lot of playful energy! She gets super excited when she first comes out and is keen to investigate everything, especially if toys are involved. Soft toys are a particular favourite, and she loves a good game of fetch. Ladybird can be a little bouncy and jump up when she is excited, but if you give her a chance to settle, she is quite happy entertaining herself with her toys. One of her cutest habits is collecting her treasures and bringing them over to share with you, often piling them onto your lap before snuggling in for some affection. She is still learning the basics and will need help developing her manners, but she has a lovely, loving nature underneath all that enthusiasm.

Tamariki – 10+ while she learns to settle.
Cats – Confident cats ok with slow intros and training.

Kūri – Friendly but shy. Ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 19.7kgs and is expected to mature large in size

Ideal home:

Ladybird will thrive with an experienced family who can give her the time, patience and guidance she needs to grow into her best self. She would love an active home where she can enjoy plenty of exercise, play, enrichment and cuddles, alongside consistent boundaries and training to help her manage her excitement. She will also benefit from ongoing socialisation and confidence building, including around other dogs, with introductions handled thoughtfully. Ladybird has plenty of potential and is looking for someone who will enjoy helping her learn, explore and discover the joys of being a well mannered family companion.
