Personality:
Mabel is a playful young girl who is learning that life can be pretty wonderful when you have toys, affection, and people to share it with. She enjoys both independent play and spending time close to her humans, happily bouncing between entertaining herself and soaking up love from the people around her. While she can be a little shy at first and is easily spooked by unfamiliar things, her confidence grows quickly once she feels safe and supported. Underneath it all is a sweet natured girl who really wants to be part of the family and included in everyday life.
Tamariki – 10+ while she builds confidence and manners.
Cats – Interested. Confident cats.
Kūri – Friendly but vocal. Ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 3.25kgs. Likely to mature large in size.

Mabel is looking for an experienced, calm home that can help continue building her confidence while giving her the consistency and guidance she needs. Puppy school, enrichment, ongoing socialisation, and clear boundaries will all help this clever girl continue growing into her best self. She would thrive in a home that can provide both mental stimulation and patience, helping her feel secure while encouraging her curious, playful personality to shine.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
