Personality:
Mako is a big, lovable goofball with an even bigger heart. This handsome lad is full of playful energy and loves making the most of every moment, whether that's chasing after fun or soaking up attention from his favourite people. Underneath his larger than life personality is a real softie who can't resist a good ear scratch and is more than happy to park himself on your feet just to stay close. When he gets excited, his playful nature can tip into being a little boisterous meaning he needs correct and confident handling.
Tamariki – 16+ due to his boisterous nature.
Cats – No cats.
Kūri – He pulls to approach and can be a bit excitable but is friendly.
Stock/poultry – No stock/poultry.
Size – Currently 33.8kgs and is fully grown.
Ideal home:
Mako is looking for a home with experience or a good understanding of the German Shepherd breed, including the health considerations they can be prone to. He will thrive with a family committed to continuing his training, helping him polish his manners, and providing clear, consistent boundaries. Due to his size and exuberance, he would be best suited to a home with older, dog savvy children who won't be easily knocked about while he perfects his gentleman skills. With the right guidance, Mako has all the makings of an incredibly loyal and devoted companion.
Warning: Mako comes with oversized paws, an oversized personality, and enough love to fill your whole entire house 🐾
