Personality:
Marge is a clever, curious girl who is always busy taking in the world around her. She loves to sniff, explore and investigate everything, with plenty of energy to burn and a playful side that makes her great fun to have around. She also absolutely loves her people and thrives on companionship, occasionally letting out a little whine to remind you that she would very much like to be the centre of your attention. She is bright, engaged and full of personality, and will be happiest when her clever brain and busy body have plenty to do.
Tamariki – 10+ and dog savvy as she is working on her manners and handling.
Cats – Lots interest quickly. Would need confident cats, proper intros and ongoing training.
Kūri – She is not great at reading other dogs cue's and just wants to bowl up to say hi.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 20.4kgs and is fully grown.
Ideal home:
Marge is looking for an experienced and active home that will continue her training and socialisation while making enrichment a big part of her everyday life. She needs people who understand that clever dogs need plenty of outlets and are ready to give her the care, love, attention and guidance she deserves. Marge can become a little stressed and vocal when she wants attention, so her new family will need to be patient and willing to work through this with her. Give this girl the right home and she will give you a lifetime of fun, companionship and very enthusiastic participation in absolutely everything you do. Someone out there is going to wonder how they ever lived without Marge. We just need to help her find them.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
