Personality:
Meet Matha, a frosty faced girl with a puppy heart and enough personality to keep you smiling! She may look a little more mature on the outside, but this girl is full of beans, playful zoomies and so much love to give. Matha is affectionate, fun loving and adores being around her people. She has a wonderfully cheeky side and is sure to bring plenty of laughter and happy moments to her new family.
Tamariki – 10+ as she can be a little jumpy during play.
Cats – No cats. High prey drive.
Kūri – Excited and rude to meet. Could be ok with a quiet dog but would prefer a no dog home.
Stock/poultry – No stock/poultry. High prey drive.
Size – Currently 25kgs and is fully grown.
Ideal home:
Matha would suit a calm and quiet home where she has space to enjoy her playful zoomies before settling down for plenty of cuddles and attention. She would love to be your one and only dog so she can have all the love to herself and she would prefer a home without cats as she does high prey drive. Some ongoing training and enrichment would be a great way to keep her clever little mind busy and give her plenty to enjoy. She may be an older lady but she still wants to live life to the full.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
