About Miss Krispy

  • Boxer, Cross
  • Female
  • Good with children
  • 4 months
  • Can live with other dogs
  • Can live with cats
  • Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre

Personality:

Miss Krispie is a playful and affectionate little girl who is sure to work her way into your heart in no time. She just wants to climb into your lap, snuggle right into your neck and love you with her whole heart. She adores people, although we believe hands may not have always been kind to her, so she can be shy around sudden movements and noise. Even so, Miss Krispie is eager to trust and discover that kind hands can bring safety, cuddles and love.

Tamariki – 10+ as she needs gentle, consistent handling.
Cats – Ok with proper supervision.

Kūri – Friendly but boisterous, ongoing sociualisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 10.5kgs. Likely to mature large in size.

Ideal home:

She will need a whānau who will love her endlessly while also helping her build confidence and experience the world without mollycoddling her. Miss Krispie will need to learn that four paws on the ground can be just as wonderful as being tucked into someone's lap, while still knowing there will always be plenty of cuddles when she wants them. Ongoing positive reinforcement training and socialisation will be important, particularly as she can be quite jumpy at times. With patience, consistency and gentle encouragement, this sweet girl has so much potential to blossom.

Miss Krispie is looking for someone who will show her that the world can be soft, safe and full of love, and in return she promises to fill your arms, your lap and your heart with a whole lot of love.
