Personality:
Morla has reached the stage in life where happiness looks a little different. A slow stroll, a sunny patch of grass, a comfy bed, and someone to lean against are all she could ever ask for. This sweet, chunky old girl has no interest in toys or rough and tumble play. She simply wants to spend her days soaking up love, snoozing beside her favourite person, and enjoying the quiet life she's always deserved.
Tamariki – Dog savvy kids ok, provided proper intros and supervision.
Cats – They are interesting but scary. Confident cats preferred.
Kūri – Not really interested in dogs, might suit another quiet dog.
Stock/poultry – Unbtested.
Size – Currently 24.2kgs and is fully grown. Slightly over weight.
Ideal home:
Morla is looking for a calm home where she can truly relax and be cherished through her golden years. She can become a little anxious if she can see her people but can't be with them, so she'd love a family who is around for much of the day and happy to keep her close. If your idea of the perfect companion is one who will happily trade adventures for cuddles and naps, Morla is ready to fill your home with gentle love.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
