Personality:
Pomegranate is a bright, busy girl who is still figuring out how to balance her love of people, play, and independence all in one day. If you love zoomies, Pomegranate is absolutely your kind of girl. She has bursts of speedy energy followed by moments of calm independence, making her the perfect blend of active and self assured puppy energy.
She is very people focused and will happily soak up all the attention, pats, and play time she can get, in that order of importance. Once she has had her fill of interaction, Pomegranate is also perfectly content to switch gears and entertain herself, pottering about and doing her own thing at her own pace. She has a lovely mix of “let’s do this together” and “I’ve got this handled,” which makes her a fun and entertaining companion to have around.
Tamariki – Any age provided proper intros and supervision.
Cats – She is currently doing her best to avoid the shelter cat, it's scary!
Kūri – Friendly, on going socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 4.3kgs. Likely to mature large in size.
Ideal home:
Pomegranate would thrive in an active home where she can be included in everyday adventures, outings, and fun experiences that help her continue building confidence and life skills. She is still young and learning, so ongoing training and socialisation will be important to help her grow into the best version of herself. With the right guidance, encouragement, and a family who enjoys having a lively little shadow along for the ride, Pomegranate is going to make a truly rewarding companion.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
