Personality:
Reece is a playful little character with a serious love affair with toys. Put a toy down and she will happily flop herself beside you, ready for a game of rough and tumble. She has a wonderfully fun side, but once playtime is over, Reece switches gears beautifully and is more than happy to settle in for some gentle attention and cuddles. When she decides it is time for some love, she has two tricks up her sleeve. She will either sit sweetly and give you her best “please adore me” look, or she will let you know with a bark. Luckily, this smart cookie is already learning that the sweet and polite approach gets her much further.
Tamariki – 10+ while she solidifies her manners.
Cats – Confident cats preferred with slow intros and supervision.
Kūri – Friendly. Ongoing socialisation needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 10.3kgs. Likely to mature lartge in size.
Ideal home:
Reece is looking for a home that will enjoy her playful personality while also giving her the structure, boundaries and ongoing training she needs to keep learning. Continued positive socialisation will help her build her confidence and good manners, while a family who can keep her busy, engaged and included will bring out the very best in her. She has plenty of personality to share and is ready to find someone who will love her silly side just as much as her cuddly one.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
