Personality:

Roland is a professional cuddle enthusiast with a big personality and an even bigger zest for life! This handsome boy absolutely loves attention and affection, and if there's a lap available, you can bet he'll be investigating whether he fits. He's a high energy lad who gets wonderfully excited about the world around him and isn't shy about sharing his thoughts, so expect a bit of enthusiastic commentary along the way! He can get carried away with excitement at times, but he's also shown some lovely awareness of boundaries and doesn't tend to push when they're made clear. Roland has plenty of potential and, with the right guidance, he's going to be a very rewarding dog to have by your side.

Tamariki – 10+ due to high energy levels.
Cats – No cats, will chase.

Kūri – Friendly but boisterous and a little rude. Either no dogs or another tolerant dog would suit him best.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 21.8kgs and is fully grown.

Ideal home:

Roland is looking for a very particular kind of home, and finding the right match will be important for this boy to thrive. A rural property or an active home with people who understand the Huntaway breed would be ideal. He's not going to be a couch potato who is happy with a quick stroll around the block; he'll need plenty of physical activity, mental stimulation and opportunities to put that busy brain to good use. Ongoing training will be important, particularly around energy management, impulse control and learning how to switch off when the excitement gets too much. Someone with patience, consistency and a good understanding of working breeds will have a wonderful foundation to build on. Roland has all the ingredients to become an incredible companion, he just needs someone willing to put in the time and help him channel all that enthusiasm into something brilliant.

Looking for a big-hearted human with an active lifestyle and room for one very enthusiastic cuddle king!
