Personality:
Selma is a shy and sweet little girl with an adorable personality just waiting to blossom. She might take a little moment to find her confidence, but once she feels comfortable, she is all about her people and would much rather soak up affection and attention than worry too much about the toys. She can also be a little more excitable than the others in her litter, bringing some extra bounce, enthusiasm and puppy silliness to the mix!
Tamariki – 10+ due to confidence and bouncy nature.
Cats – Not yet assessed.
Kūri – Friendly. Ongoing socialisation needed due to age.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 2.3kgs. Likely to mature small to medium in size.
Ideal home:
Selma is looking for a loving home ready to help her grow into the wonderful dog we know she can be. Continued confidence building, positive exposure to the big wide world, puppy school and ongoing training will help this little lady shine. She will also benefit from gentle guidance, good boundaries and a little help learning some impulse control so her puppy excitement can turn into beautiful manners.
A little shy, a little bouncy and completely adorable, Selma is ready to wiggle, bounce and cuddle her way straight into your heart and hopefully all the way home.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
