Personality:
Slate is a sweet little attention seeker with a heart full of love and a personality that is just waiting to shine. This adorable girl loves being around her people and will happily soak up attention and affection. Like many young pups, she is still learning about the big wide world and can be a little unsure at times, so she will need gentle guidance, patience and plenty of positive experiences to help her confidence bloom.
Tamariki – 10+ due to needing a confidence boost.
Cats – Not yet assessed.
Kūri – Friendly but needs more socialisation.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 6.3kgs. Likely to mature large in size.
Ideal home:
Slate is looking for a home that understands all the fun, challenges and commitment that come with puppy life. Her new family will need to continue her training, help her build confidence through positive interactions and socialisation, and celebrate all the little wins along the way. With the right support, this sweet girl has all the potential to grow into a wonderful companion and a loyal best friend.

The adoption fee is $450, which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
