Personality:
Troy is a happy go lucky young boy who is always ready to be part of the action! He loves being around his people and is the kind of pup who would happily tag along for adventures, cuddles and everything in between. Just look at those paws and you can tell this handsome boy has some growing to do!
Tamariki – 10+ as he is a big puppy at the moment and needs to build some confidence.
Cats – No cats.
Kūri – Boisterous and friendly. Ongoing socialisaion needed.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 14kgs. likely to mature XL in size.
Ideal home:
Troy is looking for a caring and dedicated whare with experience around larger breeds who can help him grow into the wonderful big dog he is destined to become. As a young pup, ongoing positive reinforcement training and plenty of exposure to new people, places, noises and experiences will be important. He is still learning how the world works, so a home that can give him good boundaries, confidence building and plenty of enrichment will help him become a happy, well mannered adult dog.

The adoption fee is $450 ($350 for dogs 7+ years old), which includes:
- Vet check
- First vaccination (including Lepto and Kennel Cough)
- Microchipping
- De-sexing
- Registration
- Bath
- Flea and worm treatment
- 1-month free accident cover from Pet-n-Sur
Things you need to know:
- All members of the family - including dogs - are required to come to a meet & greet appointment if selected in the adoption process. This includes out of Aucklanders.
- A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
- We aim to find the best home for each dog, so adopting a dog is not on a first-in-first-served basis.
- If you are unsuccessful, we will keep your application on file for 6 months or may suggest another dog that is suited to your application.
