Personality:
Uno is a lively, affectionate boy with plenty of personality and charm. He gets excited easily and has plenty of energy to burn in true Spitz fashion. He loves playtime just as much as he loves pats and affection, and when he is really happy, you might even catch him doing his adorable happy twirls. While Uno has not been particularly barky during his time with us, anyone considering him should understand that Spitz breeds can be naturally vocal and expressive.
Tamariki – 10+ due to his energy and over zealous nature.
Cats – Seems good with cats. Will need proper intros and training.
Kūri – He would prefer a calm, quiet dog or to be an only dog.
Stock/poultry – Untested.
Size – Currently 8.5kgs and is fully grown.
Ideal home:
We are looking for an active home for Uno, ideally with some Spitz experience. These clever, energetic dogs thrive on attention, exercise and plenty of brain games, so his new family will need to keep both his body and mind busy. He also has higher grooming needs and will need someone willing to put in the time to keep his gorgeous coat looking its best. Uno is not particularly fond of other dogs, so a home without another dog may suit him best, or introductions with a calm, compatible dog would be important. If you are ready for the fun, energy and big personality that comes with a Spitz, Uno could be an incredibly rewarding companion.
If you love a dog with energy to spare and personality in abundance, Uno could be the incredibly rewarding companion you’ve been looking for.
