What would your dream art school look like?
Join us for a drop-in clay workshop and build a model of an imagined school designed around creativity, curiosity and connection.
Working in clay - a material that bends, changes shape and resists straight lines and hard edges- participants will be invited to imagine what a school might look like if it were built around different values and ways of learning.
As you make, reflect on your own experiences of education and explore new possibilities for how we learn together. Participants will be invited to leave their art schools in the gallery to remain on display for the duration of the exhibition, becoming part of a lively installation of imagined futures for learning.
Presented as part of our exhibition CRIT: Art Learning Since 1987, the workshop draws inspiration from the exhibition's artworks, archives and stories of alternative art education.
Suitable for ages 8+, participants under 16 must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
