Belong Aotearoa are hosting a hui to explore the role of storytelling in countering racism and discrimination, amplifying lived experience, and shifting narratives around migration and diversity.
In 2020, Belong Aotearoa developed the PassTheMic (PTM) podcast which was a community led media campaign to promote inclusion of people from migrant and former refugee backgrounds through storytelling. These were stories told by the community, for community, with community.
After 2 seasons of PTM, we are now looking at the next phase. We want you to be part of shaping this next phase.
This hui will be facilitated by Andrew Melville and Dr Rachel Mukwezwa Tapera.
