Creative Snacks Workshop for Kids
St Heliers Library | Wednesday 8 July, 10.30am - 12pm
Join Ali at St Heliers Community Library for a Love Food Hate Waste workshop and get tips and tricks on how to create tasty snacks for your whānau.
You’ll also get great advice on how to be creative with your fresh food and leftovers to help them last longer. Let’s make the most of the food we have, save money and help the environment.
This workshop suits children aged 7-12 years. Each child must attend with an adult. Please note: Guardians are responsible for managing their own children’s food allergies.
Booking essential, spaces are limited - register to book your spot.
Please bring a small container if you’d like to take home a sample of what you make.
The Love Food Hate Waste workshop is proudly supported by the Auckland Council and delivered by Compost Collective.

Make a beautiful Matariki lantern at the library, then join the Matariki Lantern walk from 5.45pm for a magical evening stroll through St Heliers village.
Matariki clay craft for kids

Drop in and sculpt your own clay creations with air-dry silk clay to celebrate Matariki!
