About the author/facilitator:
Angus McLean is a former police detective, a current private investigator, a writer and a fan of crime fiction.
He grew up watching the TV private eye and cop shows of the 80's, rocking to the music of the 80's and reading classic crime and action stories - some of these were written in the 80's. Did I mention the 80's rocked?
He writes across various genres - crime, action thrillers, espionage and middle grade mysteries. His 2025 non-fiction book Cop It Write: The Crime Writer's Handbook is a never-before-seen look behind the scenes of detective and PI work, which helps scribes give their writing some authenticity.
