Who can join:
Junior Ranger walks are perfect for children aged 6-12 years. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18+ years old).
What to expect:
Each Junior Ranger walk offers unique activities based on the park location and group size.
Activities may include:
- Weed Warriors and Pest Detectives
- Bug Hunts
- Nature Treasure Hunts
- Secrets of Our Native Plants
- Bird spotting.
Registration is required:
Please arrive 5 minutes early, fully geared up and ready to explore! We will email any updates or cancellations due to adverse weather.
Important reminder:
Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children during the Junior Ranger Walk.
What to bring:
- Ranger Gear: Dress for the elements with closed-toe footwear, a sun-smart hat and sunscreen.
- Ranger Fuel: Bring a reusable water bottle and snacks to keep you energised.
- Ranger Time: Arrive early and be ready to start on time - our rangers are busy protecting the environment, so let’s not keep them waiting!
