Celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori by learning the basics of mahi raranga (Māori flax weaving) in this beginner-friendly, hands-on workshop led by Shelley Bell.
You'll be introduced to fundamental weaving techniques using harakeke (flax) while gaining an appreciation for the cultural significance and traditions of raranga. No prior experience is needed-all materials are provided, and you'll leave with new skills and a beautiful woven piece to take home.
