Create a short motion movie, use LEGO, toys, clay and props and learn basic animation techniques. For ages 7+.
Create, Read and Review | Starts Tuesday 29 September (drop-in)
Visit the library any time during the holidays, pick a great book, design your own bookmark and complete a fun book review. Share your favourite parts and inspire others to read. For ages 5+.
Art Day with Sue Williams | Wednesday 30 September, 10am - 12pm
Create your story inspired art work, take home your masterpiece. Only 10 spaces available. Confirmation of place sent by email. For ages 7+.
Let's Save Our Butterflies | Thursday 1 October, 10.30am - 12pm
Make a simple wasp trap to capture predators and learn about creating a haven for our native butterflies. For ages 7+.
Dress-up story parade | All day drop-in Friday 2 October
Bring the tamariki along to visit the library dressed as their favourite story character, spot prizes available for best dressed. Open to all children and families.
Stories Come Alive Character Creation Station | Monday 5 October, 11am - 1pm (drop-in)
Create your own character, give them a name and tell us about their adventure. For ages 5+.
Build a Story Scene at our LEGO Table | Tuesday 6 October, 11am - 4.30pm
Our LEGO table will be set up for you to play with throughout the day.

A drop-in tech workshop featuring Codey Rocky Robots, VR Headsets and more!
