A 6-week micro macrame journey with artist Yoko Onishi through four handmade jewellery projects - building skills, knot by knot, in a calm and mindful setting.

Discover the quiet, absorbing craft of micro macrame in this beginner-friendly course, designed to take you from your very first knot to a collection of beautifully finished, wearable pieces.

Over six weeks, you’ll learn core macrame techniques step by step - starting with foundational knots and building up to wrapping, beading and pattern work - each skill immediately put into practice through a real jewellery project. By the end of the course, you’ll have made four pieces of your own: a gemstone bracelet, a wrapped pendant transformed into a necklace, a patterned bracelet and a patterned pendant.

Beyond the techniques, micro macrame is a wonderfully meditative practice. The repetitive rhythm of tying knots encourages focus and calm, making this as much a mindful pause in your week as it is a chance to learn a new skill.

No experience necessary. Just patience, curiosity and a willingness to get knotty. All materials and tools are provided.

For adults 18+.
