Wharf to Wharf is a one-of-a-kind running event across the stunning landscapes of Great Barrier Island.
Starting at Port Fitzroy Wharf and finishing at Tryphena Wharf, competitors journey through mature native bush, remote forestry tracks, scenic coastal roads, and the island’s main settlements, experiencing the island’s natural beauty like no other event.
The race offers something for everyone, run or walk:
- the full marathon (42.2km)
- a half marathon (21km bush or road options)
- 10km over Tryphena Hill
- 5km fun run.
With 14 events scheduled in 2026, participants of all ages and abilities can take part.
