Join curator Kirsty Webb for a free guided tour of King Pin with a focus on women wrestlers from the 1930s to the modern era.

From ‘Lady Wrestler’ to ‘Superstar’ offers a deeper understanding of the exhibition with a particular focus on women wrestlers from the 1930s to the modern era.

Hear stories behind the items on show in the exhibition, the challenges in selecting and preserving contemporary items and ask questions about Dave Cameron’s collection.

Immediately following this tour, Kirsty will share additional items that were knocked out and did not make the final cut.

About the curator:

Kirsty Webb is the Curator Archives & Manuscripts at Auckland Libraries Heritage Collections at the Central City Library and has been working with the Dave Cameron Collection since it was donated in 2022.
