Join award-winning writers Lloyd Jones and Carrie Tiffany in conversation with Catharina van Bohemen at Waiheke Library. They will be discussing their new books The Beaded Curtain and The Lady with the Dog.
Jones’s daringly innovative The Beaded Curtain calls on memoir and reportage and imaginative wandering to explore his role as witness.
Tiffany’s novella is about the last few months of her mother’s life. With drawings by the Sydney artist, Noel McKenna, the book is a resonant imaginative narrative of memory, love and loss.
Catharina van Bohemen is a teacher, writer and reviewer. Her book Towards Compostela: Walking the Camino de Santiago was longlisted for the Ockham NZ Book Awards.
Books will be available to purchase at the event.
