Sculpture in the Gardens, New Zealand’s most popular outdoor art event, returns to Auckland Botanic Gardens for its 10th exhibition, bringing together a spectacular collection of works by artists from across the country.
Discover artworks placed throughout the gardens, from monumental stone and steel sculptures to playful installations, kinetic works and thought-provoking pieces inspired by nature, the environment and human connection. The artworks are carefully positioned among the trees, ponds, garden beds and open spaces, creating a unique experience where sculpture and landscape come together.
Look up into the trees, follow sculptures winding through the garden beds and discover unexpected works around the ponds and pathways. There’s also an indoor exhibition featuring hundreds of smaller sculptural works and domestic ware.
With established and award-winning artists alongside new perspectives, Sculpture in the Gardens offers a unique opportunity to experience contemporary art in a spectacular natural setting. Best of all, entry to this landmark 10th exhibition is free.
