About Te Atatū Peninsula Community Hub
Te Atatū Peninsula Community Hub | Whare Hiranga Hapori is a vibrant community gathering place in the heart of Te Atatū Peninsula, encompassing the library and community centre, and nestled alongside the beautiful Jack Pringle Park. Guided by the values of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, kotahitanga, kaitiakitanga, ako, tautoko, and whakahī, we are here to welcome, support, and celebrate the diverse communities that call Te Atatū home.
Our hub offers a wide range of opportunities to connect, learn, create, and thrive, including exercise and dance classes, arts programmes for all ages, STEM and creative technology activities for tamariki and rangatahi, cultural learning, community events, and much more. We are also home to TAP Lab, our community-led digital makerspace, where people can explore technology, creativity, innovation, and lifelong learning together.
As a proud member of the Safe Space Alliance, we are committed to fostering a welcoming environment where everyone can feel safe, seen, respected, and valued. Whether you're looking to build new skills, make connections, access support, share your knowledge, or simply spend time with others, you'll find a place to belong here.
Nau mai, haere mai. Drop in and say hi.
