About Fairy

  • American Staffordshire Terrier, Cross
  • Female
  • Good with children
  • 1 year and 8 months
  • Can live with other dogs
  • Pukekohe Adoption and Education Centre

Personality:

Fairy is a sweet and playful girl with a calm, well-tempered nature. She’s curious about her surroundings and absolutely loves attention—she’ll even do big awoos to let you know! She much prefers cuddles over playing with toys.

Tamariki: Suitable for children of any age, as she is not jumpy and has a relaxed temperament.
Cats: Not suitable—she has shown interest in them.
Kūri: Social, but will still need slow, proper introductions to other dogs.
Stock/Poultry: Untested.
Size: Currently 20kg and fully grown.

Ideal Home:

Fairy’s ideal home would be with a family who has plenty of time to spend with her and will include her as part of everyday life. She absolutely thrives on love and attention, and will happily soak up all the cuddles she can get—often choosing snuggles over anything else!

She would suit a home where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace, with people who will be patient, kind, and consistent. In return, Fairy will reward you with endless affection, her adorable “awoos,” and her gentle, loving nature.

She’s such a special girl who is more than ready for a fresh start, and she’ll make a wonderfully loyal and affectionate companion

  • A fully fenced section or outside containment will be needed to pass a property inspection.
