In this exhibition, Ammon Ngakuru (b.1993, Ngāti Maniapoto, Te Roroa and Ngāpuhi) creates a space of ambiguity, where clarity and selectivity are purposefully rescinded.
It is the first solo exhibition by Ngakuru that focuses on his painting practice.
Purposefully working against an easy readability, this exhibition invites viewers to inhabit the uncertainty rather than resolve it - to feel rather than understand.
