FBCC OPEN DAY APRIL 18

Join us for the Freemans Bay Community Centre (FBCC) Open Day!

This free, family-friendly event is a celebration of our local community and a new beginning for FBCC. Whether you’re a long-time local or new to the neighbourhood, come along to connect, discover and enjoy a fun-filled day together!

What to expect

There will be activities and entertainment happening throughout the day, including:

  • Community garage sale: Browse pre-loved treasures and bargains from local sellers from 10am - 2pm.
  • Makers market: Support makers offering handmade crafts, gifts and unique creations.
  • Delicious food: Enjoy a range of food avaliable from our food trucks outisde to hand made baking.
  • Creative workshops for kids and teens: Hands-on art based activities designed especially for young people.
  • Live performances: Enjoy performances from local groups.
  • Meet the team: Learn about our spaces to hire and find out how you can get involved.

Getting there

FBCC is located at 52 Hepburn Street, just a short walk from Ponsonby Road.

  • FBCC is wheelchair accessible from the front entrance.
  • Public transport: Several bus routes service the surrounding area. We recommend checking the AT Journey Planner for the best route from your location.
  • Walking and cycling: The centre is easily accessible by foot or bike.
  • Parking: Limited street parking is available nearby, so we encourage walking, cycling or using public transport where possible. Pratt Street carpark provides car parking for FBCC. Approximately 30 carparks are available (including two disability parks).

We look forward to welcoming you for a day of connection, creativity and community celebration.
