Hospice Awareness Week is a national call to action highlighting the critical role hospice services play in supporting people and whānau at the end of life.
Despite caring for around one third of all people who die in Aotearoa New Zealand, hospice services remain underfunded and are increasingly at risk of disappearing.
This pop-up exhibition is presented in partnership by Tōtara Hospice's talanoa group and Nathan Homestead Pukepuke, using portraiture and storytelling to humanise the impact of hospice care.
Exhibition opening: Friday 15 May, 11.00am - 5.00pm
Public viewing: Saturday 16 May, 9.00am - 3.00pm
