What are your hopes for the future? What concerns you about climate change? How can seniors connect, contribute and take action together?
Following an inspiring Golden Festival and a year full of activity, we're inviting the SCAN community to come together for a facilitated strategic hui to imagine what's next.
Whether you'd like to share a big 'blue sky' dream, put forward ideas, help shape priorities, or simply listen and learn, we'd love to have you with us. Hot drinks, nibbles, and shared kai provided.
Together we'll explore:
- The future direction of SCAN as a sustainable, community-led network
- How we can strengthen relationships, belonging and connection
- Ways seniors can contribute to climate action and advocacy
- Opportunities for partnerships, participation and community leadership
- How we can inspire, support and grow our network
- And importantly... how much fun we can have along the way!
We'll be asking:
- How do we want to shape the future for our mokopuna?
- In what ways do we want to take action?
- How do we work with an intergenerational approach,
- AKO - how are we learning alongside Rangatahi and Tamariki?
- What should SCAN focus on in the coming year?
