Auckland Council’s Music and Movies in Parks is back in 2023!

From January to March, get ready for free outdoor entertainment at your local park. Soak up the sun with live music and an unmissable line-up of Kiwi talent at Music in Parks. Enjoy blues, reggae, opera and pop…there’s something for everyone. As the sun goes down, you can gather with friends and whānau for a picnic and movie under the stars at Movies in Parks. From animated kids flicks to recent blockbusters, we’re going to be putting on a movie night for the whole neighbourhood.

Visit musicinparks.co.nz and moviesinparks.co.nz from 30 November 2022 to plan your summer of free events.

This summer, take a break in beautiful Tāmaki Makaurau.

Our three holiday parks can offer easily accessible holidays in amazing locations. Each holiday park offers something unique, you can enjoy the beautiful beach at Ōrewa Beach Holiday Park, you can relax on the beautiful pōhutukawa lined waterfront or head out to Goat Island while staying at Whangateau Holiday Park. It’s also close to Matakana if you want to pop out and explore the shops or market.

Or you can enjoy incredible views of Kawau Island, fishing and Scandrett Regional Park at Martins Bay Holiday Park. Plus there’s a great swimming beach. All of our holiday parks have a wide range of accommodation options, from family-friendly campsites to cabins with accessible options and are an easy drive from the city centre.
