Maungakiekie-Tāmaki residents can look forward to a bumper summer of events, thanks to continued support from Maungakiekie-Tāmaki Local Board.
A recent local board meeting confirmed funding support for Glow in the Park, Kids Safety Day, Jellicoe Lights, and the Onehunga Festival.
The board also confirmed funding to:
- start a series of public art projects
- progress parks and reserves restoration projects with community partners
- promote Riverside Community Centre’s Circus and Arts programme to reduce single-use plastic bags.
